Jessie and some of her friends
This is Jessie with Cassidy Cramer.

Erica Cramer, Jessie, Traci Cramer, and Cassidy Cramer and Nickala Squire with Jessie

Jessie is what most mushers call an Alaskan husky.  But to us she is a "kissy dog" as the Cramer girls have named her.  She spends many hours at the local nursing home being friends with everyone.    She is wonderful with the residents at the home and with children.
Jessie was in the same kennel with Jack when he died.  We really believe that has caused some behavioral issues with her.   She is a very sensitive dog and does pick up on feelings of the humans around her.  She is a wonderful therapy dog for all that are exposed to her.

This is Jessie trying to hide from the camera.  We do not have many pictures of her looking "happy" because she runs and hide.  So if you want her in the picture you must drag her out or catch her off guard.  She has told us that we can not have her soul and that is what she has said will happen if we take her picture.  Jessie can run very fast and is very playful, but it all has to be on her terms.  She is lovable dog with a special personality.

Here is Jessie slinking away so she will not have to "work"!!!  We have decided not to use Jess in the team.  But we have found she does know the commands and that the sams love to chase her.  So if you let her run along she will stay in front of the lead dog, which keeps everyone moving!!!  So she does have a job for the sled team!!!

Jessis has pannus, an eye disease.  She is under doctor care with a wonderful opthmalogist and she is adjusting to medicine 3-4x a day.
